There are basically two kinds of indoor grills, open grills and contact grills:

Open grills

Contact grills
A contact grill is much like a sandwich or Panini press where the heat is generated from above and below to ensure uniform cooking. Naturally food items are cooked rapidly since they are obtaining heat from below and above and the grill also occupies lesser space in the kitchen. It is ideal for busy executives and working mothers.

Why should you use indoor grills?
If you know how to use a grill properly, you will be able to cook food that is not only deliciously smoky flavored, but are also healthy and easily digestible. This will increase the taste and flavor. You can even grill vegetables on indoor grills. Moreover they are not costly and consume very little power.
